Why Do American Jews Continue To Vote For Party That Doesn’t Support Them?

In the aftermath of the horrific terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas, there is a new question that has arisen here in the U.S.

Why do so many Jewish Americans continue to vote for Democrats? The same Democrats who support anti-Jewish terror groups?

"There's a long tradition in this" said Dr. Michael Brown, host of the Dr. Brown show, "One issue is that Jews in America have feared any type of religious takeover. Republican's are perceived to be more religious. The vast majority of American Jews are fairly secular, there views would be very much left leaning."

So with that said, and now with these attacks by Hamas, will we any change among Jewish voters here in the U.S. in 2024?

"Within Israel, Donald Trump was greatly loved and Barack Obama was not loved" Dr. Brown told KTRH, "Unless the Democrats now really fail to stand with Israel, that might bring about a shift. But otherwise, I don't see a major shift coming in the next election."

FOX News writer David Marcus, also speaking with KTRH, said there needs to be accountability. There is no middle ground.

"There's a reckoning" Marcus said, "A lot of Democrats, a lot of people on the left regardless of their religion, have played a little bit of footsie with these terrorist organizations and they need to come to terms with that and with what exactly they are supporting here."

It's worth noting that religious or orthodox Jews tend to vote conservative.
