Conservatives continue to cry out that we need to "drain the swamp" in Washington. But what does that really mean? And is it even possible?
According to Rick Manning, president of Americans For Limited Government, the short answer is yes. Manning has put together a list of 5 Easy, and Not So Easy Steps to Drain the Swamp.

"Draining it is pretty simple when you get down to it" said Manning, "It's making the federal work force accountable to the political's who are actually elected to do policy, and the challenge with the swamp is it doesn't feel like it's accountable at all."
But draining the swamp was not easy for former president Donald Trump, at least not early on. But Trump eventually learned, which is why the Dems are doing everything they can to keep him out of office.
"He now is aware of that, and he's motivated because he saw what the swamp did to him" Manning told KTRH, "So, just because round one went to the swamp, doesn't mean round two will."
He adds that a motivated Trump could easily reduce the bloated government work force by 20%, and with executive orders, remove some of the bureaucrats who have been running the Democrats 'lawfare' against conservatives, and MAGA policies.
