ERCOT is issuing another in a series of Weather Watches.
The latest one will begin on Wednesday and run through Sunday. In today's release, the Texas grid operator said, "ERCOT has issued a Weather Watch for August 23 - 27 due to the ongoing forecast of higher temperatures, higher electrical demand, and the potential for lower reserves."
Twice in the last week ERCOT asked Texans to conserve electricity during the prolonged heatwave.
