Sen. Ted Cruz & (D) Henry Cuellar Bridge The Gap To Call Out Joe Biden

In a rare moment of Republicans and Democrats getting along, and displaying actual unity, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz along with U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar, held a joint news conference in Laredo, to announce they are putting pressure on the Biden administration to cut the red tape, and approve 4 new Texas bridge projects.

"The legislation that's pending needs to pass the Senate, it needs to pass the House, and it needs to be signed by the president" Cruz said, "Because the message that the Biden administration needs to hear, the message that everyone needs to hear, is build these damn bridges."

Cruz also said he hopes the bridge projects will indeed pass in the Senate this week, with Cuellar introducing appropriations to be approved in the House.

"We're here today because we have cause to celebrate" noted Cruz, "I've been working hand in hand with my friend, congressman Henry Cuellar, united to pressure the Biden administration to stop delaying these bridges. And in the last week, we won big bipartisan victories, for South Texas."
