To tube or not to tube - that's the question this summer

Tubing is a right of passage for many kids in Texas. But this summer has been very dry. So how is that affecting the popular pastime?

It turns out that the Guadalupe and Comal Rivers are still open for tubing.

"Unless one of those rivers goes completely dry, people will come out to float," said Sports Talk 790's Doug Pike. "You might have dodge the occasional rock with your backside.:

But pack your patience. Coolie Reno with Texas Tubes told us it will take you a lot longer to get your float done.

"We're still able to float all the way through. But the float is taking longer. It's taking around three hours dring the week, and three and a half hours on weekends."
