Woke companies getting better at hiding their agendas

The Bud Light scandal involving Dylan Mulvaney has dominated headlines for the last few weeks. The beer giant has reportedly suffered a 30 percent drop in sales since deciding to 'go woke' by marketing their beer with the transgender influencer. Target also faces harsh summer criticism for their displaying of transgender children clothing in their stores.

Since then, plenty of companies have backtracked slightly, or may not seem as prominent with their display of woke ideologies. But conservative activist Christian Collins says that is far from what is happening, they are just hiding their intentions better.

"They are going to keep doing it...they will just start putting stuff at the back of the store," he says. "They can do it very subversively."

Target with their backlash saw stock prices tumble 18 percent, which would be enough to make any marketing manager rethink their ideas. But, instead, they just find other ways around being openly forward with it.

"They just going on...and they are sponsoring transgender parades up in Canada," he says. "They are not changing really...they are not sorry for what they have done."

Of course, people will still do their shopping at places like Target, or drink beer like Bud Light, because it is what they know or are comfortable with having. Which, in turn, just fuels the company's willfulness.

"You may think you are just shopping...but what you are really doing, is funding an organization that is going to put their profits into non-profits or political action committees that will try and take out conservatives, and conservative candidates," he says.

All of this keeps the woke wars going, too.

"Most people who go buy a product...they do not think about singing up for a culture war," he says. "Someone who buys on Amazon...they just want the convenience of something that arrives on their doorstep."

Collins says while it may not be as in your face right now, it will all come back around again.

"They are just not going to do it right now...but they will do it later and put the woke merchandise and ideologies up front as soon as they can," he says.

But in the end, you can make it go away yourself by not shopping at a store with values which you do not share.

"We should not be supporting companies that hate us," he says.
