Is AI Fear The New Y2K?

There are growing fears over AI, with even some suggesting that artificial intelligence could eventually wipe out humanity! But is this AI - angst legit? Or is this just the next Y2K?

"Yes, times have changed" said Neil DeGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist and one of the smartest minds on the planet, "A computer beat us at chess, and that was long ago! A computer beat us at Jeopardy! Talk about the human culture, the world didn't come to an end when that happened, that is people didn't react emotionally."

So how should Americans respond to AI?

The White House, which says it is investigating how companies are using it, expressed their concern by naming V.P. Kamala Harris as the new 'AI Czar'. But the reality is, we should be ok, with AI.

"You're saying what will AI do for us?" Tyson told FOX News Radio, "You interacted with Siri on an iPhone, and you ask where's the nearest Starbucks, and it will find Starbucks, tell you it's hours, tell you when it's most crowded, and all of that is happening and not a human being involved."

He says there is one legit AI threat. A-I identity theft.
