POLL QUESTION: To debate, or not to debate

First it was Joe Biden, and now Donald Trump too? That's right, the top two candidates for president in 2024 are both refusing to take part in any debates before the primaries.

"I think it's a terrible precdent" said Bonchie, writer for Red State, "I think people are getting more comfortable with it because there's kind of this, nothing matter attitude going on in politics right now. But I think it does matter, I think politicians need to be held accountable, and they need to be put up in front of the American people to be pressed and to answer important questions. And if they can't do that, then I don't think they should hold office."

Well, for the Democrats, Joe Biden is trying to hold -on- to office, and that it is why they believe that keeping Biden in the basement is the best option. Right now, the cognitively impaired president can't even handle hand scripted questions from the adoring media, let alone legit confrontation during a debate.

"I think he (Biden) can get away with skipping them, unfortunately" Bonchie told KTRH, "It's pathetic, I think it shows exactly how mentally deficient he is, and I'm not saying that just to take political shots. I'm saying it because it's obvious, and it's something that American voters are going to have to deal with, and they're going to have to hold him accountable for."

As for Donald Trump, Bonchie believes this is just a move to try and put the brakes on Ron DeSantis, and his pending campaign.

Both candidates are looking at it as a potential win. But in the meantime, it is a true loss for the American people.
