We Need a Definition of the Word ‘Freedom’
Joe Biden uses the word "freedom," but what he is speaking of is the freedom of government to dictate, mandate, order, and decree your life.
In his short re-election announcement video, Joe Biden spoke of fighting for freedom, but I found myself being confused by that assertion. It appears that Biden was speaking of fighting for the freedom to murder unborn babies in the womb. I do not think the little life growing in a mother’s womb would consider that a good definition of freedom. After all, our first inalienable right endowed to us by the Creator God is life. I believe that is for the born, and the most helpless, our unborn.
Biden also referred to books being banned. Well, protecting our children from hyper-sexualized adult oriented books should not be shunned. After all, don’t parents have the freedom to decide on the education of their children? Oh yes, according to Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, parents do not have the right or freedom to decide what their children are being taught.
The Biden administration does not even believe that “We the People” of America have the freedom to decide what type of stove we can have in our very own homes. Or business owners cannot decide what type of ovens they can have in their restaurants. According to the Biden EPA, soon we will not be able to decide what type of car we can drive as they are mandating two-thirds of cars should be electric vehicles across these United States of America.
Now, of course the Communist Chinese Party is happy to hear about that constraint on our freedom, especially since China has entered into agreement with the Taliban government to have access to their lithium deposits. Yes, the Taliban government that Joe Biden put back into power.
Joe Biden uses the word “freedom,” but what he is speaking of is the freedom of government to dictate, mandate, order, and decree your life. This is the same fella, who as president, stated, “no amendment is absolute,” referring to our rule of law, the US Constitution. The very first ten amendments of our Constitution are the individual Bill of Rights. Here we have Joe Biden, who as a sitting president sworn to uphold our Constitution, claims it is not absolute. This is the same Joe Biden who just released a presidential reelection campaign video saying he is fighting for freedom? What freedom?
If no amendment is absolute Joe Biden, does that apply to the freedom of religion, and the free exercise thereof? Does this mean we do not have a freedom of speech or expression, a right to peaceably assemble, or petition our government for redress of grievances? Yes, I get it, those who are deemed the “mega MAGA Republican extremists” — in essence, all those who oppose your ideological agenda — lost those freedoms. We all know that you embrace the notion that the Second Amendment is not absolute, that was the intended target of your insidious comment.
What about freedom of the press? Yeah, just ask Tucker Carlson about that! How interesting that a Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) can make a floor speech in the US Senate and specifically target a popular conservative opinion host and a month later said person is canceled. Please, leftists, spare me the “Fox News lies” rhetoric. I could go on about the lies from the leftist media: Russia hoax, suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story, and blind eye to the border crisis.
Joe Biden does not believe in our Constitutional freedoms. Biden supports the ideological freedoms and rights of the progressive socialist left and Marxists. Where is the individual freedom in being told that those with strong credit scores who own their homes will have to see their mortgage fees increased to subsidize those with low credit scores. That is called mortgage redistribution, which goes along with wealth redistribution. How about the freedom of Americans living along the border to not be terrorized because of Joe Biden’s open borders agenda that undermines our safety, security, and sovereignty?
