Volunteering for a day at a sports event, some city beautification, or giving aid can make Houston a better place to live and earn you a ticket to a concert at Toyota center!
1 Day Houston is a day of service to others for you and your family happening next weekend.. It's put together by a multitude of local businesses, nonprofits, churches and philanthropists including Mattress Mack. 1 Day Houston Event Coordinator Gabe Bahlhorn: "There is a wide range of volunteer opportunities for the day including community festivals, urban gardening, school cleanups, sports camps..."
Add to your rewarding deeds this bonus: The first 30,000 volunteers who sign up and do service will be treated to a Tim McGraw or Parker McCollum concert!
Bahlhorn says they will need 50,000 volunteers to cover all the events. Remember, the first 30,000 to sign up (NOW) will get a big prize! "We have two nights in the Toyota Center! One concert is on Saturday, April 29th and the other on Sunday April 30th.
Tim McGraw and Parker McCollom will each headline one of the shows.
