It finally happened. After a more than 6-year witch hunt, the Democrats finally found a D.A. that would actually bring charges against Donald Trump, the first former president in U.S. history to be charged with a crime.
"This is an absolute disgrace" said local political commentator Chris Begala, on Houston's Morning News, "I don't care if you're a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or none of the above. Anyone who cares about the justice system, anyone who cares about this country, ought to be outraged."
The outrage and reaction continues today, with Trump set to be arraigned in Manhatten next week.
