Biden Is Trying To Have It Both Ways On Arctic Drilling

Joe Biden is getting blasted from both sides, after his recent approval, and ban, on arctic oil drilling in Alaska.

"President Biden is trying to appease the radical environmentalists that make up his base by cutting off 16 million acres from development, but also trying to show that he is doing something about American energy" said Tristan Justice, writer for The Federalist, "He's trying to show that he is granting wishes to big oil, to drill in these undeveloped lands."

So, despite the spin from the mainstream media, what's really going on here? This is simply a pre-emptive move ahead of the 2024 election.

"It's definitely no coincidence that this decision comes a year and a half from an election" Justice told KTRH, "The president has clearly taken a lot of heat, and this administration has passed a cascade of taxes and regulation on the oil and gas industry. It suppressed production, and it's raised the cost of energy across the board."

And as for giving the 'green' light for more drilling? The Willow Project won't even be ready for production, at least until 2027.
