We've Given Billions Of Tax Dollars To Ukraine, What About The USA?

In case you missed it, on Monday U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen paid a visit to Ukraine! Even though Joe Biden was just there, Yellen arrived to give another $1 billion plus, raising the total of U.S. tax dollars given for aid to over $113 billion!

House Republicans, and many conservatives are wondering, what could have done with some of that money here in the U.S.?

"You could certainly fix the border, couldn't you"? said Bonchie, writer at Red State, "I mean you could have gotten the border wall built several times over at this point. And what's frustrating about that is, that at the time that debate was going on during the Trump administration, the talking point was that we didn't have the money to secure the border, we didn't have the money to finish the wall."

But there is apparently plenty of money now, at least for Ukraine. And not only is there no limit on the spending, you can't even ask where the money is going, or how it's being spent.

"That's been my big problem with it" Bonchie told KTRH, "I'm not anti helping Ukraine, I think there is some good there, but the American taxpayer should be able to ask for a report of where this money is being spent, and how it's being spent. And the fact that we can't get that, I just don't think that's the way it's supposed to be, and I don't think it's healthy."

It's also not a good look for the Democrats dire 'debt ceiling' dilemma either.

The Republican led House Oversight Committee is going to investigate all Ukraine spending.
