The Land Bridge and Prairie Project are Open! A great few hours of celebration with live bands, games, picnic basket giveaways and food food food.
The Memorial Park Master Plan delivered an important segment of the total Ten-Year Plan. This 100 acres of land is now a completed project that makes a corridor between the north and south sides of Memorial Park.
The prairie restoration, will help bring back endangered native Gulf Coast prairie and additional wetlands to areas around Memorial Drive. Included are a new group of trails . Another benefit is the storm water management functions it will bring.
