For some companies - no Interview is required in this tight labor market

The job market is so tight that some companies have resorted to hiring workers without conducting job interviews.

"A lot of those jobs are with companies like UPS. It's for jobs like sorting packages. It's not for drivers. It's low level skill jobs. These companies just need bodies," Lone Star College economist Hank Lewis explained.

Lewis doesn't think this is a very good idea.

"How do you know who you're hiring? Will these people even show up? There are a lot of questions about this," he stated.

Lewis also hopes this is just a short term thing.

"This is definitely not sustainable for the long term," Lewis said.
