Late last night (10-29-2022) a Harris County Deputy Constable in a Sherriff's Office Patrol Vehicle was rear-ended by a white Mercedes sedan. According to witnesses who remained at the scene, the sedan was traveling at a very high rate of speed. The witnesses first approached the Deputy who told them to check on the other driver first, and then he lost consciousness. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries later to be in stable condition.
Witnesses all agreed that the Mercedes driver, a 45-ish year old Hispanic male, was moving at a very high rate of speed, and when they check on him he was extremely intoxicated. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. His intoxication was verified and according to Harris County Sherriff's Dept, and intoxication-related charges are pending. Judged by the evidence, was going over 100 mph.
