We talked endlessly about the Great Resignation, until it gave way to Quiet Quitting.
Linked In says the new trend in the office-world is Quick Quitting, people who take a job and a few weeks in to the job walking out.
The Great American Work Ethic is disappearing.
Casual Fridays have given way to "What me, work?"
"It seems like U.S. workers are more comfortable with outright leaving their jobs quickly. The short tenure rate, or STR, which measure the fraction of position tha end after being held for less than a year, has increased across industries over the past couple of years," reports Linked In.
Trends take time, so how these trends align with inflation and added pressure on US households may take a year to reveal.
Some people may have second thoughts by then.
