POLL QUESTION: How's your bottom line compared to 2020?

t's a penetrating question that the late great Ronald Reagan asked over 40 years, and it bears repeating for all voters, as we head into the November elections.

"Are you better off today that you were 4 years ago"? Or in this case, how about two years ago? The answer should be a resounding no!

"Americans across the country are in a much worse position than they were two years ago" said Terry Schilling, president of the American Principles Project, "There's a host of things where America is doing much more poorly, and I think that's going to have major implications in the midterm elections for Democrats."

It should be a pretty easy decision, especially for the all important 'independent' swing voters, whom many experts believe will be the key.

"The interesting thing about swing voters especially is that, they're more focused on what the future holds" Schilling told KTRH, "And I think the troubling thing for Democrats, if I was a Democrat strategist the thing I would be worried about is, what have I given voters to make them think that if we re-elect them, the next two years will be better?"

We will find out the answer soon enough, with the midterms now just a little over a month away.
