"I think the split began in the 1960's with 'The Great Society' under Lyndon B. Johnson" said Stephen Dawson, who wrote about a possible split for American Thinker, "The idea of growing the federal government was on paper great, it didn't matter how it was grown."
And grown it has, so much so, that we have gone from being a nation of faith in a big God, to a nation that worships big government.
"The vision of America was God given rights, and until that is ever embraced, nothing in the United States process will work" Dawson told KTRH, "The only way we're going to recover as a country is to take many steps backwards to what was working."
Unfortunately, he believes that we are going to continue forward towards ultimately splitting into two countries, within the next 50 years.
