High-digit inflation is making life difficult for many of us. Paychecks are stretched so thin that some '9 to5-ers' are looking for additional work. Financial expert Bill Dendy explains. "An extra few dollars can makes a world of difference. Side Gigs have become a whole lot more popular right now because they're easier to do than ever before and because labor has become in tight supply." Dendy says there are up sides. "You can 'try on' extra jobs easier than what we've been able to do in the past. Folks that work 9 to 5 go online and sign up to drive a Lyft car. Some people love it --- some people not so much, and go on to something else." You can do anything from waiting tables and tending bar to editing profiles on dating apps and taking pictures of items on grocery store shelves!"
Even if it's something you hate, extra work will still help you pay your growing expenses. Dendy says to try to find something you enjoy. "I think the people who are the happiest with doing these side hustles are people with a passion for something already and they are able to turn that passion into something that produces income."
That leads us to our poll question.
