Why Warmongering Could Hurt The GOP This November

While Republicans appear destined for a red tsunami in the November midterms, some are concerned that pushing for U.S. military involvement in Ukraine could be a mistake.

"The only way this war ends, is with Putin either going to jail or be taken out by his own people" said South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who appears to be leading the charge for battle, "I'm all in."

And while Senator Graham is all in, should the GOP?

"I think we have to be very careful about talking about assassinating a leader of a country with nuclear weapons" said former Texas GOP Chair Steve Munisteri, "I would just ask the Senator to put himself in the other shoes, and think how we would react."

According to polling numbers, the majority of Americans have already made up their minds on how we should react. While they support Ukraine, the overwhelming majority believe our U.S. military should not get involved.

"Well, Senator Graham throughout his career has always favored military intervention" Munisteri told KTRH, "We just need to be careful as a country that we ourselves do not get directly drawn into a conflict such as Ukraine."

We need to not get involved most importantly for our troops, but for Republicans, they don't want any blemishes before voters let their voices be heard on election day. The question is, will Senator Graham and the others in the GOP pushing for war, get the message?

"How does this end?" Senator Graham told FOX News, "It cannot end with the sellout of Ukraine. It cannot end where we give half of the Ukraine to Putin, and we can stop him if we help the Ukrainians with the weapons they need."

Will it be too much help?
