POLL QUESTION: Is China a bigger threat than Russia?

Right now, it's Russia, Russia, Russia. And rightfully so. But how much bigger of a threat to the U.S. is China?

"If you just look at it in pure economic terms, it's about ten times bigger" said Harry Kazianis, Director at the Center For The National Interest, "But it's also military, we talk about the threat that Russia is to the United States, what the Chinese essentially did is lie, steal, cheated, and bought essentially the Soviet Union's best military technology, and is now deploying that against the U.S. in the Asia-pacific region."

China is much more powerful right now than Russia, and clearly more of a threat. But what is their end game?

"I don't think the Chinese want world domination, or even to surpass the United States" Kazianis told KTRH, "I think their immediate goal, let's say now to about 2050, is for the U.S. to get out of Asia and let China set the rule book, and that's scary."

What's also scary is the China-Russia relationship, many because the two countries and their leaders, are a lot alike.

"The China-Russia relationship is very real, they are an axis of authoritarian countries" Kazianis said, "The Chinese military is the Russian military basically from 30 years ago, just massively upgraded. They align with each other politically, trying to help each other as much as they can."

There is also help here at home in the U.S.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio recently said during an interview on FOX that quote "American companies and their CEO's are basically lobbyists for the Chinese government positions", which has become a glaring double standard with the NBA.

We also see it growing in Hollywood as well. "There are countless instances where movies have had to actually change some of the different things that are in their scripts because they didn't want to insult the Chinese market, because the Chinese market either is, or is going to be very soon, the biggest movie market in the world surpassing the United States" Kazianis said in closing.

The China threat is real. The bigger question, will we have a president again that will take the threat seriously?
