Pass the barbecue please.
After being cancelled last year the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's World Championship Barbecue Contest is back. Contest David Stone tells KTRH says it's been a long wait.
"Excitement doesn't even begin to describe the energy level. They've been out there for two weeks setting up. The team's are ahead of schedule. Everybody is so pumped," Stone said.
And as usual, hundreds of teams will be competing.
"We have 254 teams, coming from all over the country and the world. We have teams from Canada, Great Britain, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, and a new team from South Korea.
The contest runs through Saturday. You can get more information and tickets HERE.
