Will he? Or won't he? That is the question as we await the official announcement that Donald Trump will indeed run again for president in 2024.
At this point, it would actually be a surprise if he doesn't. But despite all of the momentum with a growing 'red tsunami' there are some conservatives who feel that Trump should not run again.
"The basic reason why I think Trump should not be the nominee is he walked into D.C. with a scalpel when he needed a bomb" said political writer Dr. Ted Noel, "He needed to simply behead the snake, but he left them in place and was stymied."
Basically, while Dr. Ted likes Trump, and would vote for him again, he believes that 'the swamp' in Washington is so massive, that the GOP would be better served going with someone else.
"I think the very best candidate is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis" Dr. Ted told KTRH, "He was an unknown quantity when he came in, he proved himself to very effective at doing the job right. Trump relied on the experts, and he got fed Birx and Fauci."
But even before we get to 2024, writer Melissa Mackenzie says that Trump is going to have a separate battle, within the Republican party.
"Washington D.C. Republicans are on a collision course with the Donald Trump juggernaut" she said, "Basically, it's a game of chicken and they're trying to take him out before the presidential cycle, and I don't think the people are going to let that happen."
That brings us to the poll question today.
