With Republicans riding what is now a 'red tsunami' heading towards the November midterms, some are comparing this year to 1994, when the GOP regained control of Congress for the first time in 40 years. This time around, things are even worse in our nation, but it's a good comparison.
Pushing back on then president Bill Clinton, Republicans in '94 responded with a 'Contract For America', and Americans overwhelmingly signed up for it. But former 3x chairman of the Republican party of Texas says it might not be the best idea this time around.
"The reason I put a note of caution is, I think people have become so skeptical of government, it's off the charts right now. I just think most voters have a degree of disbelief when you say, here are 10 things we are definitely going to do."
Author Steve J. Maricic came up with his proposal for a -new- Contract With America, which you can find on the link below.

Either way, 2022 is setting up to be an epic year for the GOP.
"It looks like we have a tsunami off the coast" Munisteri told KTRH, "It's a pretty big wave right now, and it's a big wave for a lot of reasons. President Biden's poll numbers are so low, and he has one mishap after another, so I think right now it's setting up Republicans to have a very, very good year."
That leads to the poll question today.
