Marking The 20th Anniversary Of The 9/11 Attacks – Are We Any Safer?

It's been 20 years since the deadly terror attacks of 9/11.

There are many so-called 'experts' who believe that will never happen again here in America. Dr. Jeff Addicott, terrorism expert from St. Mary's School of Law disagrees.

"It was a shock to all of us that our country could be attacked, and that we were unprepared" Dr. Addicott said, "That's what the 9/11 Commission report said, it was a lack of imagination, and I see that same thing occurring right now today. It seems like people in our government have the snooze button on the alarm clock."

Thanks to the Biden administration, the Taliban has been given new life, with even more power than they had two decades ago. If that's not bad enough? The thousands of Afghanistan refugees that have been relocated here to the U.S., not only have they not been vetted, they also have been given the same visa's that the 9/11 terrorists were here on 20 years ago.

"They see us as a #1 enemy" Dr. Addicott told KTRH, "They have told us many, many times over, and they have demonstrated it as well that they want to kill us, and they don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat. This administration has not concentrated on the real threat of terrorism, which is radical Islamic extremism."

So, with all of that said, are we any safer now than we were 20 years ago? "Absolutely not" Dr. Addicott said. We all made a vow 20 years ago to "never forget." Apparently, we have.
