Houston is a known safety risk to postal workers when it comes to dog bites, but in the past week in two unrelated events dog attacks left two people seriously injured.
On Thursday afternoon a 12 year old child in North Harris County was attacked by a Husky when he got off the schools bus. Neighbors says the child jumped on a car to escape the assault.
"When I saw the kid his leg was bit up, his arm was bit up and part of his lip was bit off," one neighbor told Channel 2 News in Houston.
A man out for a morning stroll had been attacked by two roaming pit bulls hours earlier and remains hospitalized.
