Elements Global Services did a survey of workers to find out what their greatest issues of concerns are.
Privacy and surveillance are near the top of the list.
Chief Legal Officer JoHanna Harrington reviewed the data. “Really what we were looking at with the biggest concern of the employees was data privacy and surveillance.”
Remote work requires an element of trust between employee and employer, and when it comes to computers, there’s a breakdown.
People are worried about how to protect themselves. “Whether or not they need to hide things from their boss, whether or not they need to delete their browser history, slack messages…”
