An assault victim tells police she was attacked and robbed by a man she thought was delivering food to her hotel room earlier this year.
The incident happened back on January 16th at the Home 2 Suites hotel on Wilcrest Drive.
The victim answered her door thinking it was the food she had delivered, when the suspect forced his way in and assaulted her at gunpoint before stealing her cash and belongings.
Houston Police were able to catch the man through the ankle monitor the victim noticed that he was wearing at the time of the assault.
