St. Louis couple get new guns after firearms confiscation

The gun-toting St. Louis couple who pleaded guilty to pointing their weapons at people protesting near their home last year are flaunting new rifles on Twitter.

Mark McCloskey picked out a new AR-15-style gun to replace one he surrendered to authorities as part of a plea deal.

His wife, Patricia, is seen giving a thumbs up in a photo. She had brandished a handgun when hundreds of marchers walked past the couple’s mansion last June. She agreed to pay a $2,000 fine to settle her part of the case.

Mark McCloskey, a lawyer running for the U.S. Senate, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and was ordered to pay a $750 fine.
