DMV: "Watch out for SCAMS, Texas!"

DMV says, "Texas, watch out for emails and texts saying they are from the DMV." The Department of Motor Vehicles is warning Texans. They are saying the messages are not from the Texas DMV and are actually from cyber criminals.
These messages are meant to steal your private information or worse--- put harmful files on your computer. The DMV advises you NOT to click on any links sent in these emails or texts. The department will never reach out directly by email or text requesting personal information.
