A Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles to Nashville was diverted Friday after an unruly passenger repeatedly yelled, “Stop the plane” and attempted to enter the cockpit.
Flight attendant Christopher Williams swiftly took action to handle the situation. Passenger video shows the man was restrained with zip ties before being carted to the rear of the aircraft.
The plane made an emergency landing in Albuquerque where the suspect was taken into custody.
Another flight took the passengers to their intended destination, about six hours behind schedule.
