The legislative session in Austin ended with fireworks, as Texas Democrats took their ball and went home, walking off the floor minutes before the deadline to vote on SB-7, the voter integrity bill, came and went.
The left claimed victory that they killed the bill. But that's really not true. It only delays the inevitable. Texas Governor Greg Abbott will call a special session for SB-7, and says he will defund the legilsature for what they did with this proposal.
Despite what happened with SB-7, Abbott saw a lot of what he wanted get passed. which leads us to the poll question today.
