Houston Police just tweeted: "We are happy to report that the missing tiger seen in a Houston neighborhood last week has been found and appears to be unharmed. The tiger has safely arrived @BARC_Houston .
previously: There is still no signa of the Houston Bengal Tiger named "India." The alleged owner, Victor Hugo Cuevas, says he was a "caregiver" for the majestic animal. Houston police have received around 300 tips about India's whereabouts, but none has helped them find him. Carole Baskin, whom you may know from "Tiger King," owns the Florida animal sanctuary Big Cat Rescue. She says the situation is dangerous because India has no fear of humans. If someone turns quickly, runs, trips or if there is a small child near him - it could trigger India's killing instinct. Baskin is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to finding the tiger.
There is currently no statewide Texas law forbidding the private ownership of tigers. Houston police believe Cuevas is the owner of the big cat, although he says he was only taking care of it. Investigators believe India is now, in order to hide it, being passed around a number of people in between 6 and 8 locations in Houston. India is 9 months old.
