The Houston Zoo is announcing extended hours for spring break.
From March 13th through the 21st, the zoo will be open an extra hour every day, opening at 8 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m.
TXU Energy will present a display called Prehistoric Beasts, which will feature a dozen animatronic prehistoric predators, including a saber-toothed tiger and a Giganotosaurus.
Zoo officials say pandemic precautions such as masks and social distancing will still be in place.
