Founded in 2014, Galveston Island Brewing is Galveston’s largest production brewery. The brewery’s flagship beer, Tiki Wheat, has become the staple brew of the Gulf Coast and deemed “The Official Beer of Galveston”.Many of the Galveston Island Brewing Beers have received awards on the national level for craft beer.
Galveston Island Brewing has announced the construction of a new 4,400 sq. ft. production facility which is expected to be completed summer 2021. The addition is located on the existing brewery property and will host additional production space and a climate-controlled seating area. The facility will allow for a doubling of the breweries production capabilities as well as distribution to the Greater Houston area.
Galveston Island Brewing’s Tap Room is a top tourist destination in Galveston. Located on the west end of Galveston Island, and just a block from the beach, Galveston Island Brewing is a great stop on your tour of the island.
