A Texas Republican lawmaker says Congresswoman Ilhan Omar should be removed from her committee assignments instead of fellow GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Representative Brian Babin of the Houston area has filed an amendment saying the Minnesota Democrat shouldn't be on the House Foreign Affairs Committee because of past statements about Israel.
On Thursday this week Democrats took the first-term Georgia representative off her committees for past social media statements, including claims the election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.
