Houston-area Republican Congressman Mike McCaul (TX10) says President Biden's executive orders on energy are harmful to national security.
Congressman Michael McCaul says the nation will still need oil, and it will have to come from somewhere.
That means increased imports of foreign oil from countries that may not have our best interests at heart.
Biden killed the Keystone XL Pipeline, which would bring oil from Canada to Gulf Coast refineries.
He also ended new oil and gas leases on federal land. McCaul says Russia, China, Iran, and Venezuela will benefit.
