KTRH Update: Police in Pearland announced that 1-year old Jaivan Simpson, and his mother have been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued last night. 22-year old Jada Williams, who had threatened to harm herself and her child, was taken into custody for a Class "A" Misdemeanor Terroristic Threat. The 1-year old boy was released to a family member.
Pearland police were called last night, after the Simpson was taken around 7pm. According to the Texas Center For The Missing, the mother left with the child while making threatening statements about harming herself and her son. Authorities say the case is still under investigation.
