A football player who tackled a referee after being ejected in a high school football game Thursday was taken away by police.
The player, Emmanual Duron, reportedly may face further consequences for the incident during a game between Edinburg High School and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Early College High School. Edinburg is a border town near McAllen.
