Philadelphia police clashed with protesters for a second night after Walter Wallace Jr., a Black man armed with a knife, was shot and killed by police officers. Elsewhere in the city, looters ransacked retail stores and at least one vehicle was set on fire. Videos on social media showed people grabbing clothes, electronics and other merchandise. One showed a journalist being assaulted.
