Tesla is revealing part of its plan for the billion-dollar factory the company is building in Austin.
A site plan filed with the city of Austin includes a huge factory building and its parking lots near Texas 130, adding up to nearly eight-million square feet.
That covers 280 acres of the 21-hundred-acre tract the company bought in July for 97-million-dollars.
So far, Tesla hasn't indicated what it has in mind for the other 18-hundred acres at the site.
