Lingering impacts of Covid on businesses in the Houston area have some managers really worried about being able to retain their top performers.
“In a recent survey, we found that in Houston 88% of senior managers worry about losing top talent right now,” says Brandi Clark, Regional Manager for Robert Half Staffing in Houston. “And of those 39% say salary reductions and planned salary freezes are to blame.”
The study found 72% of companies have maintained or even upped pay for new hires since the pandemic began.
36% of employers say they are more likely to negotiate salary compensation with candidates now versus a year ago.
