According to PJ Media, hundreds of protesters gathered outside police headquarters in Austin on Friday evening, chanting anti-Police slogans. They attempted to enter the building and were turned away. The protesters then took down the American and Texas flags from nearby city-owned flagpoles, dropped them to the pavement and set them on fire. There's video below of the flag burning.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old University of Texas student in connection. He has been charged with theft, evading arrest, and resisting arrest.
