The funeral for George Floyd is over. People packed into The Fountain of Praise in Houston Tuesday for the final service before his burial.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee compared the 46-year-old's death to Jesus being up on the Cross saying he was sent by God to make good out of evil.
Floyd's niece told the crowd she would not let Floyd's death be in vain while also calling it a hate crime.
Video shows a now fired Minneapolis police officer with his knee against Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes. The officer has been charged with murder and manslaughter.
Floyd's body was taken to Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, where he'll be buried next to his mother.
