Texas Governor Greg Abbott is allowing hair salons and barber shops to re-open their doors on Friday. A pair of State Representatives from Houston weren't waiting for Friday to come. They weren't even waiting for Abbott to announce their re-opening.
Saying they want to help small businesses, State Representatives Steve Toth and Briscoe Cain decided to get their haircuts yesterday.
The two of them say there's no reason to continue banning businesses from operating as long as they follow CDC guidelines. Such restrictions, the two said, are hurting the Texas economy.
