Despite the calls to avoid stockpiling, hoarders are not paying attention. HEB is now tightening customer purchase limits on key items to protect its supply chain. Shoppers will be limited to "two each" on meat items like beef, chicken, eggs, and turkey.
Similar limits are in place for non-food items.
The San Antonio-based company also announced that they will not accept returns on items like toilet paper and frozen food.
