Testing for Covid 19 today at Butler Stadium in downtown Houston is for people 65 and older who have symptoms. Harris County Public Health's Dr. Umair Shah says says there is an evaluation process.
"It starts at home. It starts with just understanding are there symptoms that may put somebody at risk for Covid 19. If the answer is no, or if there is no exposure, then this evaluation process largely can stop there," he says.
If you do have symptoms contact your health care provider. Today people over 65 at risk with symptoms will be tested for a fever of 99.6 or higher. Expanded testing begins tomorrow, and additional locations will be announced.
