At Wednesday's White House Press Conference, Response Coordinator Dr. Deborah Brix cautioned that emerging information from Europe indicates young people are at risk from the virus. In Italy, she said, 25% of patients are under the age of 50.

Spring breakers at Texas beaches are ignoring warnings about social distancing during the coronavirus outbreak. The mayor of South Padre Island declared a state of emergency on Monday, but the kids are still hitting the beaches to party in large crowds. A great many restaurants, clubs, bars, and movie theaters are closed, but spring break is still going on, at South Padre, Port Aransas, and other areas in the Coastal Bend.
