Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, told Melania Trump "#BeInfected" after the White House announced the first lady would be in PSAs concerning the coronavirus.
Wilson was slammed online for his criticism of the first lady. He responded to the backlash, using profanities in a separate Tweet.
